During the 2014-2015 school year, the School Board created a new opportunity for Alumni to engage with their Alma Mater. The Alumni Fellows Program allows undergraduate and graduate MHS alumni students a unique collaboration opportunity combining professional development and volunteerism as a meaningful pathway to employment. Alumni Fellows gain invaluable career growth skills, job search assistance, and give back to the community while seeking employment or other career related opportunities. The Program provides the opportunity for our Alumni to contribute to MHS's intellectual life, participate in events, collaborate with peers, audit classes, mentor students and lead socratic discussions.
Our Fellows may come from diverse disciplines, but they must share the essential traits of being dynamic practitioners, capable leaders, of extraordinary character, and committed to using their energy and talents to make a positive difference in the world by sharing their knowledge and experiences with the new emerging generation.
The mission is to empower and cultivate a network of globally engaged leaders committed to public service and volunteerism in order to make the world they live in a better place. By doing so they will strengthen their skills in leadership, engage in public service and create a lifelong network as they share their knowledge and experience to help students straighten their essential skills for higher education.
