“The Song of Bread” - An Ode to Bread

The 10th-grade Honors Armenian students recently finished enjoying the poems of “Song of the Bread” ("Հացին Երգը", Constantinople, 1921) written by famed 19th century poet, Daniel Varoujan. It was a collection of Armenian lyrical poems dedicated to bread, farmers (“The Sons of the Land”), and rural life. With this, the annual 10th-grade tradition of hands-on learning continues...

Students Collected Money For “Act for Armenia”

During the month of December, students collected money for “Act for Armenia”, a bicycle donation campaign organized by Velo Pasadena. Velo is a local bike shop owned by the Gevrikyan family, whose children Matthew and Angela have graduated from our school.
