The Most Colorful Discovery

Our trip started with a scenic Metro Gold Line trip to Downtown. After a short snack break at the historic Union Station, we arrived the Pershing Square, where the lovely, two-story Last Bookstore is located in a 1920's arc-deco style bank building. At the bookstore, we admired the tunnel of books, the LP collection, rare books corner, as well as the comfortable couches.

We also took the opportunity to walk to the Jewelry District. It was amazing to see so many carats and colors. At one of the larger booths of St. Vincent jewelry plaza, Mr. Daduryan showed us all the gems that we dreamed of in the poems of Mezarents; the sapphires, the emeralds, the red rubies and more.

After a tea break at the historic Biltmore Hotel on Pershing square, we took the metro to come back to Pasadena with lovely memories.
