Vahe graduated AGBU Vatche and Tamar Manoukian High School as the valedictorian of the Class of 2016.
Currently he is a sophomore at the University of California, Los Angeles, (UCLA) majoring in Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology, and minoring in Armenian Studies.
He currently works in two research laboratories under UCLA Departments of Orthopedic Surgery and Medicine. He is already a co-author on several scientific research publications from these laboratories.
Vahe is a UCLA Alumni Academic Scholarship recipient and a College Honors member.
Recently he was selected to represent UCLA for the highly competitive Barry Goldwater Scholarship, which honors the best in math and science in the nation. Vahe was one of only four students who were selected from the UCLA Engineering, Math and Life Sciences Departments, combined.
In addition to academics, Vahe is an accomplished tennis player and pianist. He is part of Alpha Epsilon Omega, an Armenian Fraternity, of which he is the Philanthropy Chair.
Vahe also spends his time raising funds and helping different charitable organizations in the Armenian community. He spends part of his summer vacation by serving as a counselor at the Hye Camp of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church.
