I am Mr. Wiebe and this is my third year teaching at AGBU. I was born in France, but grew up in Oregon where I went to university for history and education. I have been teaching around the world for the last seven years and have been fortunate enough to work in four different countries. I have taught in France, Honduras, South Korea, Oregon and California. While all of these experiences have been great I am excited to keep teaching the students here in Pasadena and learn even more about Armenian culture!
Travel and adventure are certainly a passion of mine. I have picked up four languages working around the world, but I would really love to learn some Armenian as it seems like such a unique language. I also really enjoy the outdoors. Whitewater kayaking and rafting are huge passions of mine and I try to get outside as much as possible. I am also a big soccer fan and am definitely excited to play some ball with the students here at AGBU. If you are curious about history, travel or sports by all means do not hesitate to ask, my door is always open!
